Before installation: Confirm that Windows operates correctly and the computer is free from malware that could disrupt Radonix software.

Install every component in this order before starting controller setup.
03Install Microsoft components
.NET Framework 4 Client Profile
- Run
dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64.
- Accept the Microsoft licence terms and select Install.
- Wait for completion and select Finish.
If Windows reports the same or a newer version is installed, select Close.
Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0
- Run
xnafx40_redist and select Next.
- Accept the licence agreement, select Install, then Finish.
04Install Radonix CAM-Pro
- Open the Download Center and obtain the latest available CAM-Pro version.
- Run the installer and continue through the setup wizard.
- Keep the default installation folder or use Browse to choose another location.
- Confirm the installation, wait for completion and select Close.
If an existing installation is detected, review the repair or removal options before continuing.
05Install the correct machine interface
Download the interface that matches the machine type and Radonix controller. Interface registry files are not interchangeable.
- Locate the downloaded interface
.reg file and double-click it.
- When Registry Editor displays a warning, select Yes.
- After Windows confirms the values were added, select OK.
Import only the correct Radonix interface supplied for the machine. A wrong registry file can apply incorrect interface settings.
06Open the installed programs
Open the Windows Start menu and search for Radonix. Three programs should be available:
- Radonix CAM-Pro: main CNC operating software
- Radonix CAM-Pro Calibrator: axis calibration utility
- Radonix CAM-Pro Test: controller testing utility
07Connect the controller and configure IPv4
- Supply the controller with the correct voltage and confirm its Power LED is illuminated.
- Connect the controller directly to the computer with a LAN cable.
- Open Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings.
- Open the Ethernet adapter properties and select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
- Select Use the following IP address and enter these values.
IP address192.168.11.100
Subnet mask255.255.255.0
Default Gateway and DNS values are not required for this direct controller connection.
08Allow Radonix through Windows Firewall
- At the Windows security alert, enable both Private and Public networks.
- Select Allow access.
- Repeat for CAM-Pro, CAM-Pro Test and CAM-Pro Calibrator if prompted.
- If communication remains blocked, add the Radonix executables manually and check antivirus restrictions.
09Verify the connection
- The controller Power LED must be on.
- The controller LAN LEDs should be illuminated or blinking.
- Launch CAM-Pro or CAM-Pro Test and verify controller communication.
If LAN LEDs remain off, check the cable, Ethernet connectors, controller power supply and physical connection.
